Our Mission
The Northeast Maritime Institute Foundation was created to further the Northeast Maritime Institute’s creed of “Honor the Mariner.” The Foundation provides tuition assistance, scholarships, and financial support to students, organizations and communities that advance maritime and ocean interests and education globally.
Our Impact
Since 2015, the Foundation has been able to provide over half-a-million dollars in support through its various initiatives, including scholarships and community support. Students pursuing a maritime education and training are the focus of the foundation.

Scholarships
The NMI Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to students attending the Northeast Maritime Institute – College of Maritime Science. In addition to providing tuition and financial assistance, the Foundation has developed a scholarship partnership program with high schools located in maritime communities to create the Mariner Scholarship Program.
