Mariner Scholarship Program

Northeast Maritime Institute – College of Maritime Science has established a Mariner Scholarship Program with High Schools within Official Coast Guard Communities, High Schools with Coast Guard JROTC Programs and other coastal High Schools, supporting one student from each High School annually.

Those students who have received the Mariner Scholarship have been immensely successful, have graduated or have transferred to the United States Coast Guard Academy.

If you are looking to apply to the Northeast Maritime Institute – College of Maritime Science, and you are a student from one of the schools below, we urge you to apply for the Mariner Scholarship Program. Please complete the application form found within your High School’s section below. Completed Scholarship Applications must be submitted to the Chairperson listed on your application.

Camden County High School

The Cape Cod and the Islands Mariner Scholarship is available annually to a graduating student from Cape Cod and the Islands area (Barnstable County, Dukes County, Nantucket County) in Massachusetts. For more information, please view the Cape Cod and the Islands Maritime Scholarship Application.

Cape Cod Regional Technical High School
The Cape Cod Regional Technical High School Mariner Scholarship is available annually to a graduating student from Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Harwich, Massachusetts. For more information, please view the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School Mariner Scholarship Application.

East Carteret High School

Marimed Foundation

Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

Newburyport High School

Rocking the Boat
The Rocking the Boat Mariner Scholarship was created to support Rocking the Boat participants with an interest in a career in the maritime industry to complete a Nautical Science degree at Northeast Maritime Institute.
