Mariner Scholarship Program

Northeast Maritime Institute – College of Maritime Science has established a Mariner Scholarship Program with High Schools within Official Coast Guard Communities, High Schools with Coast Guard JROTC Programs and other coastal High Schools, supporting one student from each High School annually.

Jules Kehoe Women in Maritime Scholarship

The NMI Foundation Jules Kehoe Women in Maritime Scholarship was created to support female students with an interest in a career in the maritime industry to complete a Nautical Science degree at Northeast Maritime Institute. Recipients will receive funds, for a maximum term of two years, to be applied to a portion of the Northeast Maritime Institute Associate in Applied Nautical Science degree program tuition.

Impact

The NMI Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to students attending the Northeast Maritime Institute – College of Maritime Science. In addition to providing tuition and financial assistance, the Foundation has developed a scholarship partnership program with high schools located in maritime communities to create the Mariner Scholarship Program.
