Two of our members from the NMI Foundation Board of Trustees, Angela Dawicki & Eric R. Dawicki, presented the Boys & Girls Club Coastal Carolina with a $10,000 donation towards rebuilding one of their roofs following damage from Hurricane Florence. The folks from Carteret County in North Carolina are humble, gracious and incredibly kind.
They have welcomed the Northeast Maritime Institute time and time again with open arms and smiles, offering safe refuge to S/V Fritha during Hurricane Sandy in 2014. We are greatly humbled by that fact and are honored to have been able to return a bit of their kindness.
